Asked for 3 tacos, cheesy rice, steak con queso, and an order of cheese dip. and ya a shame because the food is so good. I’ve say almost an entire meal with and empty glass in front of me and at times gone so long without seeing my waiter/waitress that i wonder if they decided to quit their job during my visit!Īt any rate, this will probably be my last time here, so I’m gonna have to find a New Mexican joint around the area when I’m here from now on. In addition to their demeanor, they are very inattentive. However, in spite of that, the waitstaff doesn’t smile and treats you almost as if you’re an imposition to them, in fact i feel like they are rushing you the entire time and don’t even want you there. I’m a very easy going person and treat the waitstaff well and smile and try to be pleasant since I can imagine how some customers can be. seems that every time i come here it gets worse than the previous time. while the food is good and the chips and salsa are delicious, the service is abhorrent. It’s difficult to find good Mexican food in the Nashville area, so I’ve been here a number of times, even driving out of my way to get here. We would definitely return and not be afraid to recommend a stop here to others. This place provided us a good value for our experience here. They were good and plentiful for two to share. We shared the single order of Hawaiian fajitas. It was not served with the typical sugar or salt rimmed glasses here either(for us that is neither good or bad but we just note it here as it was a different approach than most). The pitcher of margaritas (rocks of course) was very good and a decent value if you plan to have a couple of drinks then that is the best way to go. The black high back booths allowed for comfort and privacy as we dined. It was a bit hot when we were there so we opted for the inside dining. It had a very good environment to dine inside or out. They were accommodating and very prompt in fulfilling our needs. Nothing bad to report on the service front. There seemed to be a seriousness not light hearted or whimsical attitude as they went about their work. Service was not exceptional but very good. Do not get us wrong it was a Mexican midrange dining experience. It was almost upscale attitude in the way they went about their serving us. It was actually noticeable how stoic and serious. The servers at this establishment were all dressed in white dress shirts with ties or bow ties for the ladies.
